Valve should somehow fix the differences in team and solo mmr when they are used together
First of all this is not a rant, I just use my last game as an example to expose the real problem
I got a guy with these stats in my last game. He was with his mate who was roughly 3.4k team mmr (he wasn't showing the other mmr in his profile) and the game mmr was almost 4k.
The game was a complete stomp, because the other team had players from 3.9k to 4.2k while my team got one 4k, two 3.9k and these other 2 guys, dragging our actual combined mmr to around 3.8k, which was 200 mmr below theirs (that's a win streak of 8 matches for the five of us to actually get there, which is quite unlikely to happen, just to put it in perpesctive)
I am not whining about losing the game, some games you lose and some games you win. Sometimes this happens in your favour and sometimes against you, but it does happen in a lot of games, it's not an ocasional problem and I think it needs to be fixed, because it makes for really frustrating games.
The solution I propose to this, although it will need a lot of polish or may be exploitable, is to somehow take into account both mmrs when you are queued with all solo matchmaking players.
Maybe just the average between the two, or take into account for example how many matches you have played in each mmr in the last month and ponder it from there, I'd let the numbers to Valve's statistician and wizards
I really think this is a problem with the current ranking system that needs to be addressed, I don't have much time to play lately and I don't feel like wasting a whole 40-60 minutes in a match that's just not objectively fair
English is not my first language, but I hope to have been able to get my point across

Don't get it... What code are we trying to decipher on this image?
compare their solo mmr to their party mmr
Mmr is just a number. Kappa
