With all the negativity going in the Reddit, I thought I'd share something nice tonight

So I went on LFG and posted that I'd be willing to help some people run WoTM raid in hopes that I could make someones day and get a few SIVA key fragments out of it as well. I'd done Sherpas in the past during year one, but mostly skipped on Y2 due to Oryx being a bitch to Sherpa groups. I now remember why I used to do this.

Most of the raid went as expected with 3 people who have never done it. A couple of wipes at Vosik, but we ended up doing challenge mode on him as well. On to Death Zamboni and we got through that pretty painlessly, only wiping once. We went on and did the monitors as well, which to my surprise, we did first try. Now the real bitch of the raid came here, which was Aksis Phase 1&2.

Wipe after wipe over little mistakes, somebody refused to take the cannon or couldn't find their servitor quick enough. We had a guy just go silent and quit after about 5 wipes and I thought everyone was going to lose their passion at this point. Everybody kept their heads up high and said they weren't going to leave until we beat it and got the OP quest. So I pulled a random in and we continued on. It took us almost an hour and fifteen minutes to complete Phase 2 of Aksis alone, but we finally did it. This is where it all was worth it for me. As everyone was collecting their loot and celebrating someone got the Scout rifle and was in Glee. They were so excited, their voice completely cracked and they pretty much just squealed in joy. I honestly didn't care about the time spent cause everyone else was so happy and relieved they beat the raid.

I made a couple of peoples day by walking through them with the raid this night and I'd hope some of you guys do stuff like this as well. With all the bitching, whining and accusations going on here in this subreddit, I thought I'd share something on a positive note. If anyone has other stories like this, post them below. I'd like to hear them.
