Andrew Brunette review!!

After the post about the popularity of Heros, I noticed that I'm actually using a bunch of the less popular ones. So I decided I'm going to run a few reviews for the guys that many people don't use. One that was at the bottom of the list was Andrew brunette, who has definitely had some good games for me.

Skating: 5/10. This is brunettes worst category. With 85 speed, you certainly aren't going to be burning anyone. The relentless forecheck brings his accel up to 91, so he can get to top speed fast, but in all honesty, it's still not fast. Balance, however, is absolutely fantastic and his endurance is incredible.

Shooting: 9/10. Brunette has a monster shot. One of the hardest wristers I've used. Seems like every shot that he takes either goes in or hits the post. His slap shot is incredible as well, and it surprises me that he doesn't score every single shift.

Hands: 11/10. Brunettes best trait by far. The man can do so much with his dangling ability, and can perform any deke with ease. His passes are some of the best I've seen in this game, as with CG on it gets even better.

Checking: 8.5/10. Brunette has solid checking, however his size at 6'2 is sometimes his downfall trying to take out some of the bigger guys. He can certainly lay down the boom in most players though, and his defensive stick is amazing as well. Very rarely takes penalties, super high discipline.

Defense: 9/10. Certainly an amazing TWF, his defense is on the same level as Bergeron or toews, if not better. He is always there to make great plays, and has amazing awareness.

Overall, I'd give brunette a 9/10, especially for his price range, around 120-130 on XB1. I also play brunette at center, he has 85 faceoffs, and rarely loses any draws. Fantastic PK as well. If you don't have him, which is 98% of the RHC community, do yourself a favor and grab one of you don't mind a slower guy!
