Warforged Racial ASIs
Would it be unbalanced if I gave an UA Warforged a bonus to DEX and INT instead of the STR and CON that a they normally get? Fluff-wise this warforged wasn't created for war like they are on Eberron, he was built by a wizard to be his apprentice and bodyguard.

Only think I can see is dex goes to AC as does the racial. That being said...different construction could be faster but not as strong/hearty.
Exactly. The wizard would have been more concerned that his student be fast and smart than big and beefy.

More like a perfect student. This wizard's attempt at immortality without steeping to such unsavory methods as becoming a lich. Was supposed to be perfectly obedient, have perfect memory, studious, a mind literally designed to hold arcane knowledge. Got it pretty well on everything but the first point. The warforged had a mind and morality of his own, and didn't trust his creator's motives and left.
Let's watch Ex Machina for inspiration again, shall we?
