Hi Reddit. I’m Jeff Zidell, SVP of loyalty for Hyatt. A few weeks ago, we announced our new loyalty program, World of Hyatt, replacing Hyatt Gold Passport in March 2017. Today, I’m here to answer your questions about World of Hyatt.

At Hyatt, what sets us apart is our purpose – to care for people so they can be their best. We have applied the lens of purpose to all aspects of our business, including loyalty. World of Hyatt celebrates the people, places and experiences at the heart of our members’ world.

Some new aspects of World of Hyatt include:

• Three elite tiers– Discoverist, Explorist and Globalist – that reflect the aspirations of our members as they travel and expand their world.
• Base Points count toward tier status, including Base Points earned for dining and spa experiences.
• Free night award for staying at five different Hyatt hotel brands
