If Alberta shut off the the existing pipeline for a week Vancouver would be begging for more oil. Would open a lot of eyes.
We don't even make money off that oil and it's all exported so it's not being used here
BC has enough domestic oil supply to cover much of its own small needs however admittedly not enough to make money exporting
If BC were to shut off all the Albertan pipelines Alberta would feel it not BC

You have no idea what you're talking about. All the oil used in the lower mainland is from Alberta. Jet fuel, gasoline, diesel it originates in Alberta. Chevron in Burnaby refines just over 50,000 barrels a day of oil which is albertan crude. There's only one big pipeline to bc which of course is the transmountain pipeline.
We would just drill more domestic oil and buy from the US. Texas would probably offer a better deal than Alberta and not act like they own our land
Offshore exploration off BC is a possibility too
BC produces lots of natural gas but only around 100,000 barrels per day of crude oil. Also not enough refineries. It's cute you hate Alberta, you are not alone. But BC refusing to use Alberta oil is not realistic.
