She He I

She had the kind of windswept hair
that tried just a little bit too hard
to really be a natural mess.
She had the kind of eyes
that made you want to do something stupid
just to have them look at you.
She had the kind of smile
that made stars look like they were just
rocks from a million lightyears away

But her hair only really tried to be messy
when he was near
Her eyes were focused on him
while he was busy looking someplace else
And she smiled the brightest
when he told a stupid joke or anything really

And he never noticed
I did.
