Thank you. We would love to go to Europe. Alas, our team is a state school with a low budget so we can only afford to attend the Lincoln, Nebraska (U.S.) competition.

That woman is more than welcome to wear that head garb, for her religion or personal preference or whatever; but she should not be wearing that while using a lathe. It's different than hair, long hair gets tied back and is behind your shoulders, this is dangling in front, underneath her chin.
