I'm interested to see people's thoughts on the type of player we should draft. Most fans and commentators think we could do with another key backs and some extra pace, but otherwise the list is well positioned for next year. Do you agree? What are the names on your draft board you hope Elshaug and co. target?

I'd love SPP or Florent. Someone with a bit of x factor and outside speed. If Marshalls there I wouldn't say no but I really want SPP I think he'll be a gun.
I reckon considering how late our first pick is we should pick up the best player available regardless of what position he plays, this strategy paid off for the doggies.
Oliver Florent for me. Personality wise he would be a great fit and the kid has been through a lot. I think with the right support network and togetherness at a club like the saints he would absolutely flourish! He clearly has a heap of talent and is that perfect mid/fwd type player you can't have enough of.
I hope we target a Josh Gibson type backman with pick 23, a good mark and reader of the play who uses it well. Someone who can learn off Dempster before he most likely retires next year. Either Rotham or Ridley. Even though we would like another 200cm CHB this year seems thin on talent in that area. Also, next year ,when we have two 1st rounders, is supposedly better for KPP talent so I think we would hold off.
Plus I feel that with the amount of midfielders in the draft will mean that we will be able to pick up a midfield slider with pick 36. That being said I wouldn't be surprised at all if we go for a speedy, cream on the cake, sort of midfielder like Bolton.
