MS Eric Staal Review

Big Wild fan here Staal is our leading scorer so far this year so I got his MS card for 24k earlier today with great synergies of PP and CG.

Skating: 8.5/10 he is not as slow as he would seem he does have 88 Acc 88 speed and 89 agility with my CG active. 91 Balance which is great he is very hard to knock off the puck. He can has some wheels on him and can burst into a rush pretty quickly.

Hands: 9/10 deke is 90 hand eye is 90 Puck control is 93 with my CG activated he rarely loses the puck since his balance keeps him up, also has some pretty nice dekes he has pulled off for me and his 95 offensive awareness keeps the puck on his stick more often then not.

Shooting: 8.5/10 Not going to blow anyone away with his shots, but the accuracy and power for both wrist shot and slapshots are 89,90 89,90. He can bury nice slot shots when I cycle the puck and has scored more goals so far than I thought he would. His shooting is great for his Playmaking type style player.

Passing: 10/10 This is where Staal Shines up there with the Elite with his PP active he has a 97 OVR passing rating, with his 95 offensive awareness and 97 poise he is CLUTCH with passing towards the end of the game even more, saucer pass, hard pass, doesn't matter he is so smooth. He is a playmaker that is great at making space for himself to dish out passes, my favorite part about him.

Defense: 9/10 Amazing as well, hes big bodied has 90 defensive awareness 91 strength, 89 body checking, 92 stick checking. He can catch up on the backcheck and take people out of position easily, also his poke checks are driving my opponents insane. All around great, better than some top tier defencemen.

For the way he plays he is a STEAL for 25-40k area with great synergies. Give him a try the 87 OVR is deceptive he plays more like a 90 defensive center that has amazing playmaking skills and can score.
