Scott Niedermayer Review!

Got him in a playoff pack, might as well review him!

ACTIVE SYNERGIES: DR, OJ, TT, T, CG, TW

Lines: 2nd pair w/89 Shatty, every special team line

SKATING: 9/10 He is a DFD, he is not your go ti guy on the rush, but he is agile. This could be more about hands but when he has the puck in both zones he very smooth and agile with it

SHOOTING: 9/10 It is rare to give a D man 10/10 shooting unless his name is Al MacInnis but he has a great slap shot. One of my set FO plays is win it back to him skate to the middle and shoot low right though traffic and he almost always scores when set up right. A great point shot to have. Also has a very good wrister

HANDS:9/10 Only a 9 because he is not a deker (but you don't expect that from him) He is one of the best breakout passers on my team, he has great puck control as I mentioned before, and almost always connects on the 1T

HITTING: 8/10. Like anyone, give him a little speed and a good angle anybody can hit.

DEFENSE: 11/10 WOW. Best defensive player I've used. His stick checking is unbeliebeable, his DAW is at 101 with synergies so he is always in position to cover the shooter on a cross crease. When near the boards with someone he rarely takes a penalty on a stick lift. Best DFD I got.

WORTH IT?

He is free to me and I think he is 100% worth it. His synergies for the most part dont help out the team much, OJ being so easy to get, but I think OJ helps him. He is the perfect upgrade for any Ryan Suter fans who want an upgrade overall, most specifically in speed
