Mov Jakub Scoracek Review

Getting Vory was sort of an impulsive decision yesterday. I like to switch my team up a ton and consider myself to have "HUT ADHD" if you will. I am sure some of you can relate.

The first time I tried Voracek was his base card. My verdict was, "meh." He seemed ok. Slow as hell but with a cool shot. Sort of like Perry.

Fast forward to yesterday:

Sullivan - MS Lindros - Mov Voracek.

Oh....baby

10 games

11 goals

3 assists

Skating: 8/10

Voracek is no Bure by any means. Hell, my Versteeg out skates him pretty drastically too. He is not slow though. He is a big body that can get down the ice pretty decently. He sort of reminds me of MS Lindros with the way he skates.

Shooting: 9.5/10

Voracek has a fucking cannon of a shot. I found when I got open ice and ripped a slapper or a wrister, it was either going in or the goalie was going to have a damn hard time handling it. This resulted in a ton of rebounds with Sully pounced on due to his insane speed. With 1T and OJ activated, Voraceks slapshot power goes up to 98. Combine that with 92 accuracy and this guy can shoot the puck.

Hands: 10/10

You think his shot is good? This guy dekes as well as McDavid for me. He is sooo strong on the puck due to being a big guy already and he has amazing passing and hand eye.

Checking: 7.5/10

Voracek can hold his own. He isn't a Lindros type of physical player but he also can bump along the boards pretty well. He is pretty soft for his size in general and is more about getting you points than doing the dirty work.

Defense: 8/10

Again, not his bread and butter but his hands due give him great poke check ability and he plays along the boards very well. Smaller guys don't stand much of a chance against him as he is able to contain them pretty well. I really like his break outs from his defensive end as he is so strong on the puck in general.

Verdict: 9/10

Voracek is a beast. Plain and simple. I can't wait to see what this guy ends up like as a 91 and 92. He is basically a jack of all trades. I cannot think of anything he does not do well and the entire left side of his card is 90+ minus his endurance. I love this card and I think he will be the anchor on my team for the distant future.

I hope this review was helpful! These reviews are still new for me so I don't know if they are shit or actually helpful! Just trying to help out.
