Schools that Don't Care about Undergrad Research
I have high numbers (3.9/522) and what I believe are solid ECs, but I have no undergrad research experience. It's not that I'm against doing research or anything. I just never wanted to do it just to check off a box. Plus, I had a need to work in order to support myself so I didn't have very much time to devote to it. My metrics lead me to apply to the so-called "high tier" schools, but I'm worried that these schools may not show me any love. I'm looking for some suggestions on schools to apply to that like high stats and don't really care about undergrad research. It would also be helpful if you could tell me schools that place a huge weight on undergrad research, so that I may avoid them. Thanks!
