I'm seeing the asking price for Greninja Break suddenly rise to around 15 Evolutions Packs / 8 Roaring Skies. Just a month or so ago its was in the 6–8 Steam Siege range, so I'm wondering if you have any insight into the change? Is it just that fewer people are trading it so demand among those that don't have it has gone up? Thanks!

Best deck without shaymin maybe? Just a thought.
It has always been that. It's just too much demand and not enough supply, plus the demand for evolutions going down, you could probably still get one cheaper if you offer packs like AOR, BKP and BKT.
You can still find them for a good price. I recently traded 1 Shaymin EX for a full Greninja Break deck (3 Greninja Breaks, 4 of the whole Greninja line, 4 Talon, 1 VS seeker, a fisherman, and a bunch of other trainers I just didn't happen to have, like a super rod, balloons, etc). I've felt it's pretty solid, however, there are some direct counters, and I've ran into them. But for what I would consider a budget deck, it performs very, very well.
People are ripping each other off. I have bought breaks at 7 gen a pop numerous times the past few weeks including this past sunday. I keep selling it to people who believe it went up in price and overpaying for it. EVO is worthless hence the "price increase". 3 rs can buy you greninja breaks still if you wait.
If anyone wants to buy it at 6 rs a piece, ill sell all of mine. It is worth 3.5 rs
Some people were calling the Greninja BREAK deck a tier 2 deck and not giving it much respect. Recently it's proven itself a tier 1 so everyone's trying to get their hands on it.
probably the most annoying deck to face in standard right now, no deck comes even close to being as common. I literally play against greninja break every 3 games.
Makes a lot of standard supporters like lysandre and magma grunt completely wasted space and if it gets a few turns to set up with water duplicates suddenly the game is unwinnable.
I think a slower meta with no dive balls will hurt it a lot but we'll see
I got lucky and got my 4th greninja break trade lock from one of the five uncommon chest and traded my remaining tradable copy.
I have two spare going. Will happily snap your hand off for 8 RS each!
has it been announced yet? i was wondering because BKP and BKT might be on the bubble depending on how they rotate this year since there have been several changes in the TCG and VGC formats at the start if the 2017 season
It hasn't, and won't be until July/August, but they rotate in chunks. If you look at Japan sets, they had a separate "Break" era that started. All ancient traits will be rotated out, breaks will remain. If be willing to bet a large sum of money on it.

Team Flare Gear (though there were only a few cards to begin with). This standard format is PRC-on, and PRC was the start of the Ancient Trait mechanic. XY, FLF, FFI, PHF didn't have any special "theme" (aside from those flare gear cards) compared to the BW sets.
