My BF and I are traveling to Jacksonville for the bowl game this weekend. What are the best places to eat (preferably more casual with TVs since BF doesn't want to miss any of the other bowl games)?? Also ideas for things to do or places to go for NYE would be greatly appreciated!!

Intuition by Everbank field will be solid. Not much else in that area though. Mellow mushroom in Avondale isn't bad. Lots of stuff by the beaches if you're out that way. I like the Garage. It's near kickbacks in riverside
What part of town will you be staying in? Downtown, Riverside, Beaches, Southside? I'm not sure about NYE party but intuition ale works has a new facility downtown that's pretty nice. Kickback's in the park and King district of Riverside is good as well. I'm not as familiar with the other parts of Jacksonville though.
Can vouch for Intuition. Went there for the Jags game last Saturday and they had some great beers and a really friendly staff, too. Plenty of TVs. I didn't eat there, though.
My experience with Jax Beach for NYE has always been negative, unfortunately. Bars are crowded out the wazoo and some less than upstanding people are out and about. Just my personal take, though!

it is but call and check their hours. I may be mistaken any other night they close at 11pm....just make sure they are open for NYE as I am sure they will be.
