90 Kris-Mas Versteeg Review

90 Kris-Mas Versteeg

Here You can find this cards stats and synergies.

Kris Versteeg plays 3rd line with 91 TOTW Tyler Seguin and MOV Mcdavid

Active Synergies include 1T,B,CG,TW

Skating 9/10 For perspective i rate HERO Sullivan and MOV Duchene a 10/10 on skating

Versteeg is a very fast (94 speed) and agile player and has great acceleration (95). I use the “Stay wide” Quick breakout strategy and the passing to him on the wing really caters to his speed and will burn any defenseman(Of course as long as he has not been on the ice for a long time). He protects the puck well and usually doesn't get knocked off the puck.

Shooting 8.5/10 For perspective i rate HERO Sullivan and HERO Shanahan a 10/10 on shooting

Versteeg has 93 WSA and 94 WSP which are really great stats for his overall and they are pretty true to the rating. His card is stated as a Sniper and he can shoot the puck decently quick. For some reason most of his shots end up hitting the goalies and trickling through and i'm not sure if this is just me being completely terrible at shooting and how lucky i get or that's just how hard his shot is. He has a very hard slapshot and a very accurate one at that he has 95 SSA and 101 SSP which is better then some defenseman and its a bomb!

Hands 8/10 For perspective i rate 93 Halloween Roy and MOV Kessel a 10/10 in the Hands Category

As stated above Versteeg plays with Seguin and Mcdavid and these 3 guys make some of the craziest plays i've ever seen. Versteeg doesn't cover as much ground as Seguin and 93 Roy do when deking but he really does move with the puck and gets around everyone. He is a great passer aswell with 92 base passing and 97 passing with synergies he always hits tape. He very rarely loses the pucks when doing dekes nor when he is protecting the puck.

Checking 8/10 For perspective i rate HERO Linden and HERO Shanahan 10/10 in Hitting

Versteeg is 5’11 and 175 pounds and can throw his weight around pretty well, He has 88 body checking and knocks a lot of people off the puck. He does not destroy people like Big Buff does but is a pretty good hitter.

Defense 7.5/10 For perspective i rate HERO Linden and HERO Shanahan 10/10 on Defense

Versteeg is similar to TOTW Seguin in this category where he gets the job done but is not exceptional at it. Like Seguin i can trust him on a two on one to get in the way of the passes and intercept them but he does not compare to someone like Halloween Roy or HERO Linden. Versteeg has 93 stick checking which is pretty true he can poke or take the puck away from you pretty efficiently.

Game Stats 25 games played 14 Points 7 Goals 7 Assists

All games were played in Division 1

TL;DR: Versteeg is a very good card, and is better offensively than he is defensively but that is to be expected from a Sniper. He has a very hard shot and very accurate shot at that but a better Slapshot with Bombers activated. I recommend his card for the price he is going for!!

He is going for 120k-150k but if you are on during the day you could get him for 120k easily
