Base Brent Burns (Winger) Review!
THE LONG AWAITED!!!!!!!
BRENT FUCKING BURNS REVIEW!!!
Burns, sometimes forward sometimes d man, is worth about 55k on ps4.
He is one of the most well rounded cards this year and can play on he wing or d. This review is for left wing.
Line - Burns - 89 Backstrom - MOV Voraceck
Skating - 9/10
Burns is by no means a speed demon, but he can keep up with players like base marchand or base wheeler. His balance is what keeps the rating high. His ability to shake off hits while speeding buy a player is one of my favorite qualities.
Hands - 8.5/10
Burns doesnt have too silky mitts. Dont get me wrong, he is a god, but his hands could be better. Comparable to base wheeler IMO. His passing is above what i thought and is very good at times, very comparable to base getzlaf.
Shooting - 9.3/10
Oh my god. He is so good here. His slapshot power and accuracy is near perfect and his one timers almost always go in. Very comparable to 88 matthews...even better. His wrist shot power is very good but not near his slapper. Good on the pp for one timers so at the point or lw is a great planhis wrister compares to that of base voraceck.
Checking - 10/10
God like. Honestly. You can whip the puck in the corner and almost always expect him to come out with it. Will not get bumped off the puck easy. Comparable to lindros.
Defense - 9.2/10
His stick check and stick lift are pretty good. His positioning is also very good. He does take some silly penalties. One thing that could be better is his stick checks like i hinted at earlier. Comparable to base marchand (defensively).
Awareness - 8.5/10
His awareness is pretty above average but not too special. His offensive awareness is good and he seems to be in the right position a lot. On defense as a winger his positioning is good, but his discipline brings him down. Hes very good, but could be better.
Overall rating - 90.83%
Final thoughts - tank alert. Honestly a defensive ovi. He cannot snipe as good as ovi but is as tanky and better defensively.
leave feedback as always!
