Thank You and Thank the Minnesota Wild
As a longtime Jackets fan, I want to say thank you to your fans and your team. You all held up your end to make Saturday's game the most hyped anyone has been for a CBJ regular-season game in our 16 year history. Columbus has been an Ohio State town for over a hundred years, and there's now legitimate debate about which team's game to watch this weekend. This is exactly what our franchise needed, and while going for 15 is something special, this game wouldn't be nearly as important if the Wild didn't have 12 straight of their own. Your team has helped make this upcoming contest the game of the year so far, and all of us in Columbus are grateful for it. Win or lose, this historic event will get more eyes on the Jackets than we could have ever hoped for coming into this year. Good luck this weekend, and we look forward to seeing you in the Stanley Cup Finals.

I'm right there. One team has to lose, which is unfortunate, but we get to showcase to the world some of the best hockey ever seen! Dubnyk watching Foligno's cross-crease pass, Bobrovsky trying to read Eric Staal's mind. Two teams playing team hockey. We get to end 2016 by seeing how this NHL season will end.
