MOV "Rat Face" Marchand Review!

Thoughts: I Like the way he plays. Very good on defense, poke checks feel great, great all around.
Skating: 9.4/10 - he is pretty fast. He isnt as fast as mov mcdavid or even base mackinnon, but his speed can keep him up with the likes of those two. What brings his rating up higher is his agility and balance. For a small guy he can really stay up on his skates. He is also very agile like real life, with awesome stops and starts and can turn on a pin head.
Shooting: 9/10 - He has wicked wristshots that can get pulled off very quickly. His slapshot is not as good but is good enough. His shot is not on par with mov voraceck or the likes but is a bit better than base kessel.
Hands: 9.2/10 - marchand is one of the craftiest players in the game. His hands are comparable to base kane and are sooooo slick. I mean he can dish it and he can dangle as good as anyone. Definately one of the best. What brings him down his hand speed as they are not as fast as kanes and are like base kessel. Could be better.
Checking: 8.8/10 - For a small guy, he can get crushed. What keeps his rating good is his balance as when being just bumped, he doesnt go down, hes great like that. Exactly as youd expect.
Defense 8.9/10 - A perfect fit with bergeron. He is mostly in a good place and is great on the pk, as long as you have other players for the pp (hes good on both)
Awareness: 9.3/10 - Defensive awarness is good. He is in good places but sometimes theres more to be had. He can get fubled around sometimes and its not good, but its not often. On offense, it seems like he is always in the right place. He is good on the powerplay to dish it and set up guys.
Overall: 91%
Final thoughts: a 90 ovr with TW and potential upgrades, GET HIM ON YOUR TEAM!
