How to access data in an .iso file?

I was checking out this whitelist of valid program hashes from NSRL to practice writing an antivirus program, and the default download format is an .iso file.

Any ideas on how to read that format? I'm pretty familiar with .iso files when downloading an OS image but I have no idea how to access data stored in that format.
