Similarities between Season 1 interns and Season 9 interns [Spoilers]

The characters are kinda alike on what happened to them:

George and Heather are somewhat apart from the rest of the group IMO. Both died in an accident while helping. Shane and Cristina left and didn't cry or remorse over their fellow intern's deaths right away. Just kinda silent Both into cardio. Leah and Izzie are both hated alot TBH. They both left and so far only Leah has returned. Both blonde too. Both slept with Alex too lol. Jo and Meredith aren't alike that much except for how they seem to be the main intern IMO. Alex and Stephanie really aren't alike at all, just BFFs to Mer and Jo. (Alex and Mer only later on though.)

Any more opinions?
