I believe EA chooses certain players/cards and makes them play better than their stats. I want to put together a team of players that ball out. I don't care about overall, chemistries, or the actual stats. I will update the roster with consensus picks from this thread.
Looking for players that make plays regardless of cost, overall, stats, traits, or chemistries
As stated in the title. I will not post my schemes here, because I've noticed certain players ball out regardless of schemes. As a matter of fact, I think there are only a few players from each promo that ball out, so creating an MF team is useless. I want to see if creating a team of all these "special" players will work. This is different than players that EA has a liking for that sell packs. I have no proof of this. I have some positions figured out.
QB - any Rodgers card
FB - OOP Poe
RB - MF Derrick Henry, TOTW Jordan Howard
WR - TOTW Michael Thomas
WR -
WR -
TE - any Gronk card or MF Jordan Reed
LE - BCA Wilkerson or Ed Too Tall Jones
DT - Base Geno Atkins
DT -
RE -
ROLB - UF Lavonte David
MLB -
MLB2 - MF 86 Urlacher or MF 94 Urlacher
CB - MF Peterson
CB - BCA Butler
CB - CB Deion Sanders
CB - Sam Madison
FS - OOP Beckham, BCA Berry
SS - Paul Krause, MF Landon Collins
EDIT: To clarify...I am not asking for budget beasts. I have not seen specifically that traits always translate into the best players. There are just certain players that I've plugged into the lineup that always seem to make plays regardless of overall, cost, or stats.
EDIT2: Looking for cards that play well as on their own (non-users).
EDIT3: Based on contributions so far, I have updated the list.
