Rimworld sucks

Wasted 10 hours on this game. Cant understand why people praise this game so much.

• Generates a world, yet none except for 1 tile is accessible
• Lame RNG combat and happiness mechanics
• Shallow building system and game play mechanics. How is it that I can build door and wall, but not windows? Dwarf fortress, a free game made by 1 man is more in depth than this lame excuse of a game that costs $30
• Shallow character attribute and personality system. They are all just +/-. No creativity.
• Looks like a browser based game from newgrounds back in the early 2000s.
• Thank god for piratebay
