Woodturning Chisels

I've decided to try and make friends with the wood lathe at my makerspace. I'd like my own chisel set but, until I know that I'm going to stick at it and not lose too many fingers, I don't want to drop a lot of money.

Amazon sell a set by Silverline for about £20. The two reviews call it a good set for beginners. Am I likely to have a chisel related malfunction if I buy these?
