Are college campuses the only place in America where a lot of people party hard and binge drink?

I am not as familiar with American culture as I would like to be but it seems like the only place in the USA where it is socially acceptable for a large group of people to binge drink and party hard are college campuses. Apparently it is like a rite of passage, you are supposed to do all of your drinking and partying at the ages of 18-21 on a college campus, immediately get it out of your system, and then never ever think about doing it again. After reading reddit, that is the impression I seem to get about American culture.

My question to Americans is, are college campuses the only places in America where a large number of people hard and binge drink?

I know bars in any city are good for this but they seem more tame and low key compared to college parties, seem, I have only been to 3 states in the country.
