Calf fasciculations - worried about ALS
I'm a 30 year old male who takes citalopram for health anxiety and amitriptyline for tension headaches. I am not overweight and in reasonably good shape with no significant family history.
Over the last few weeks I have had fairly constant fasciculatons in both my calves, but mainly my left. There is no significant weakness or muscle wasting but I can convince myself the left is slightly smaller than the right.
The fasciculatons tend to be at their worst when I'm going to sleep.
I am terrified I have ALS and I guess was looking for reassurance that I don't.
Thanks for your time.
