Soundmagic HP150 impressions

TL; DR: My balls fell out of my body and went rolling around the room.

Well, as an own guilty pleasure gift for Christmas (wasn't thinking in buying new headphones, but there was a good deal in a Spanish shop, 120€), purchasing them without thinking too much in the audio profile, which people said was linear, almost analytic sound, and that was the type of thing that convinced me to not buy the AKG 701. Well, not really at all.

First of all, headphones are packed in a nice case, not too portable, but nice equally. Intercambiable cable, which seems solid and a bit fatter that the usual default wires. I've been using the headphones with a Fiio X1, which can move them absolutely nice.

They are the most comfortable headphones i've ever had. My ears fit perfectly inside the cups and they feel light. Sound, not linear at all, not analytical at all. Seems to have a little bass enhancement, giving them a warmer sound compared to other linear response headphones. Does not mean a "basshead" headphones, the bass only appears when it has to appear. Mediums and highs, at his place. Detailed and separated. The soundspace, oh, wow, and more wow taking account that these are closed headphones. The drums in King Crimson's Radical Action are simply amazing.

Seem to be a polivalent pair, i've been listening to a lot of types of music, Steven Wilson, The Prodigy, Run the Jewels, the Smiths, Rush,... and the sound is nice for all of them.

The only problem i've found is that, without being analytical, they don't forgive the bad recordings. The Queen is dead lacks of Soundspace, the voice of Kase O seems to be on a bandpass filter, some Rush recordings are messed up,... It's not really a negative point, but something to take care of. Really, very surprised with them.
