They're telling me it's pressure on the catheter, but I REALLY think I need to pee and just can't. Is this normal?

So, I've been chilling with an epi for most of the day, and it's now 4:40pm. I have a catheter and I REALLY think I need to pee, but nothing is happening. The bag is empty. They're telling me it's just pressure from the catheter, but I'm not too sure.

Any tips to make myself pee? Or how to convince them something is amiss? This is seriously uncomfortable and the only answer or help I'm getting is "it's just pressure" and that's it!
