The Time Has Come - A Statement From the IF

First contact has been confirmed. This is not a hoax or a trick. There is video evidence directly from the Xbox DVR that shows the moment of first contact. Our forces have been scrambled and are regrouping in Maia. Until more information is available, I cannot say what will happen. What I can say is that first contact was not hostile and the IF will pursue peaceful relations for the time being. We will patrol the area and keep an eye on things incase they go loud. It appears the Pleiades is the epicenter so please avoid that area if you do not wish to encounter this new species. And if you do, I urge you to NOT FIRE UNLESS FIRED UPON. My men have strict orders to do so as well. If war breaks out, I want it to be because they fired first.
