Can a parent kidnap their own child?

Answered

When I was around 10 my parents divorced. Sometime after that, mum came and told dad that she would take me and my sister to the park. Which he agreed on, however she instead called a taxi, and traveled to a hotel some where. Me and my sister was not allowed to call back home, and wasn't allowed to leave the hotel. So I'm wondering, does that count as kidnapping, or something else?
