"The Talk" with my daughter. Advice?

It is about time for my wife and I to have the sex talk with my daughter.

Is this something I should leave to the wife to deliver alone?

What are some of your experiences giving and receiving the talk? Advice?

We are godless heathens so "Saving yourself for Jesus" isn't going work for us.
