Help! Significant other says classical music is boring.

She was tearing up at a concert and I took that as a hopeful sign. Nope. She was literally bored to tears. She prefers pop music, even bad 90's pop music on YouTube playing through a tiny Bluetooth speaker. Is it a lost cause or is there something I can do to help her appreciate classical music? Maybe providing some context by way of historical background to pieces and composers? She doesn't play any instruments though she says she would love to. Maybe that would help? Maybe start with something more "exciting?" Operas? Operatic pop?
