Does anyone use the Honeywell Lynx 7000 / Honeywell L7000PK10 (I think these are the same) as part of their home automation system? If so, would you recommend.

I am trying to find a more professional level wireless security system that I can DIY and incorporate into home automation. Right now, I am pretty much a blank slate and only have 2 Ecobee3's and a Skybell HD.

Initially I was considering something like FrontPoint/ Alarm.com or SimplySafe but don't want to be locked into to a single security company.

From the little that I have been able to gather Honeywell appears to be common hardware for many security system providers.

In my research, I came across AlarmGrid.com which appears offer HoneyWell Security systems as a DIY package (example: https://www.alarmgrid.com/products/honeywell-l7000pk10-4g)

Does anyone use something like this and would you recommend it?
