Cartoon Network App Freezes on Fire TV Gen 2 box

Has anyone successfully used the Cartoon Network app with their TV provider login? I installed it on my Fire TV Gen 2 box last night and it keeps crashing. It runs fine the first time, but when I successfully sign in with my provider login (PS Vue) on cartoonnetwork.com/activate, it still shows episodes as locked. After signing in, the pop up on the app goes away and says it was successful. When I try to watch one of the locked shows, it asks me to sign in with my provider info again. After the second time, when the pop up on the screen says it was successful, the app freezes as that pop up transitions off the screen. Leaving the app and coming back doesn't fix it and I need to reboot the Fire TV. This happened twice in a row so I gave up. I emailed the support contact listed on the Amazon app store, but haven't gotten a reply.
