Brethren and swolesisters, I require your aid

Greetings o Disciples of Brodin,

I cometh to you with a request for aid, not for myself, but for my father. He is quite overweight, and lately his back has been getting increasingly more painful. It is pretty clear that his once great gains are calling out for attention, for they are feeling sad and neglected.

I cometh to you, asking for any simple bodyweight exercises that he could do to improve back strength, while standing upright.

There is however another catch; due to his age and a rotator cuff injury from his youth, the range of motion in his arms leaves some to be desired.

I have been praying to the Allspotter as regularly as i can, and would consider myself, if not a journeyman, then at least an adept in the way of Brodin, but i am at a loss...
