[EXPANSION] Expansion raises questions

EXPANSION

President Harrison announced the entrance of six more provinces today in a questionable move to expand the borders of New Lenape. The move was criticized by many who argue that domestic issues should have greater priority in the government. Now, the Senate must focus on establishing local governments, law enforcement, and market economies in the new provinces instead of other pressing issues. Namely, the New Lenape economy is seeing signs of recession as corporate profits are not meeting expectations across industries and last month's labor report showed a noticeable uptick in unemployment. Markets also appear worries about the ongoing debt concerns in Georgia. Politicians may not want to admit it, but Georgia may need continuous funding to pay off its yearly deficits. All of this compounds the the confusion as to why the Harrison administration appears to be more interested in foreign affairs than the plight of Lenape citizens.
