Millford Mill Academy

I'm intrigued by u/witnesscousin's claim to have attended Milford Mill Academy. I'm similarly intrigued by u/dualzoneclimatectrl's observation that several Millford Mill Academy graduates were interviewed in the first episode of Serial. (ETA: Milford Mill is spelled with one L, but can't change the headline.)

I note that Hae lived in the Milford Mill Academy school district, and had to get special permission to attend the farther away Woodlawn High School. So, I'm assuming Hae didn't enter WHS as a magnet student. Krista, by contrast, had to drive by Milford Mill Academy to get to WHS every day. But did not need special permission to attend. Or did she?

It's interesting to me that the middle school that fed Milford Mill was called -- at the time -- "Woodlawn Junior High," while many of the WHS students, seem to have attended Johnnycake Middle School (now called Southwest Academy.)

I note that Hae's brother attended Millford Mill Academy. And that Hae might be alive today, if she'd attended Millford Mill, not WHS.
