Trying pyromancy, suggested builds?

I came back and made a new character today and spent a few hours grinding around to get the silver cat ring for an adventure to the gutter (what an awful place) and a few pyromancy spells.

I'm only level 32 I think, but was curious if anyone had any suggested armor/item/spell builds I should try out.

Right now I'm focusing on PVE just to complete the game, though PVP stuff is cool too.

I've only beaten the last giant so far, next is the pursuer and then the tower of flame I think.
