Putting together a will. Anyone have advice on what to think about with estate planning.

My husband and I our expecting our first child this year so we need to finally put together a will (one of my new year resolutions!). Any advice or resources we should think through before meeting with our attorney. Want to make sure we're as educated as possible so we use up as little attorney time as possible. Any thoughts about revokable trusts, executors, power of attorney, etc. would be much appreciated.
