looking for advice (newbie)

hi all so i've been wanting to get into airsoft for about a year or so but knew nobody that played so got a little put off, turns out my cousin plays so i got some1 to go with soon and the chance to meet new people, i've done a fair amount of research so far and will continue to but i got a few questions with regards to gear as i want to know what i'll purchase when i eventually get my license.

is this a viable choice? i'm looking for a larger weapon which is fully metal and eventually i would like to play around with a Laser, flashlight and RDS so any links to decent models of them would be brilliant, especially if it fits with the weapon.

i plan to buy some basic camo clothing for my first few games just so i don't stick out like a sore thumb. but after which i need some decent glasses/goggles that aren't mesh and don't fog.

thirdly would i be better to buy rigging or a chestpad with slots for ammo etc?

fourth and finally - sidearm - i presume gas pistol is the way to go from what i've read, do these have refillable containers within the grip etc? if so what sidearms would you recommend?

there's many more things i could ask but i'll save this until i go for my first few experiences,
