Sharpening a small blade?

Hey guys

I have a kershaw 1555TI image

I just bought my first whetstone and watched a few youtube videos on sharpening.

My question is - the actual edge of the blade is extremely tiny. The video's I'm watching have knives with a more discernable edge and so a more discernable angle to sharpen.

I'd obviously rather not leave this edge in worse shape than it is now - so do you guys have any pointers?
