Capabilities difference between Ruida vs AWC608

I just took delivery of a 500x700mm laser that came outfitted with a Ruida DSP, and uses RDWorks. I've got an existing laser that has an AWC608 and uses LaserCad. Is one of these controllers significanly better than the other, or is it just the usual pissing contest of 'Ford vs Chevy'. Is there merit in removing the 608 from my old machine and moving it to the new one versus keeping the Ruida it came with installed?
