Removal of 60/40 tin/lead solder from 1926 dime (.900 silver, .100 copper)

Hi,

I've gotten solder on the wrong part of a dime that I'm attaching to a musical instrument, and now it looks like crap. I'd like to remove all the solder from it and start over. No buffing, no scraping, since it's a nice looking old piece. Any ideas? Thanks for reading.
