monitor mount for racing seat setup

Hi guys. I'm going to be picking up a used openwheeler race seat setup and was wondering what I should use to hold my 30" monitor at the appropriate height and distance. I was thinking of wall mounting it but that would be a bit far from me I feel. Was thinking of placing it just beyond the steering wheel but can't figure out how to have it be held there. Any recommendations?
