LD Process, Week 1 - Getting Started
TL;DR: gonna be documenting process of starting to LD for beginners.
I find that on this subreddit, everyone seems to be making small posts about their success, and it's great that all of you seem to be making progress, and the questions are great too, but I don't see anyone really showing the time it takes from the very start to get to the point of lucid dreaming. So I thought I should document what I do regarding LDing from the very start, so anyone looking for a way to get started might have a bit of a reference point, as well as to build a stronger /LucidDreaming community.
Just some quick background before I start this, I used to have lucid dreams about once a month as a kid, but stopped having them a few years ago. My dream recall has also become near nonexistent, so I'm starting from basically rock bottom.
I should be releasing a new update weekly if this gets good feedback, so people can see what they might need to focus on, and I'm welcome to feedback from you veterans as to how I could improve my process.
Week 1
1st - 3rd was reading up of LDing again, reminding myself of everything.
4th was the first dream I could kind of remember, documented immediately on Lucidity for iOS (made by someone on this sub!!!)
5th was spent trying to make RCs a habit again, my favourite is counting fingers, but nose pinching and trying to breathe is very effective. I also read over my previous dream journal, looking for any dream signs that might help. Also documented another dream on the app
If you got this far, well done. I'm happy to take feedback on how to improve this, and just remember everyone has different experiences, so the time it takes to do things like remember dreams, etc. will be different, but my process is just a starting point, and the techniques to LD will be different for everyone, but I'll still try all of them.
Thanks for reading this far, and Happy Dreaming!!!
