A clarification on the question of whether watching SU on CN is a way to surpport the crewniverse

I recently submitted this post - (Watching episodes of SU on CN does _not_ support the crewniverse. Here's why.) I still ascribe to what I said there but I think I should clarify something.

While^^^^^. watching SU on CN doesn't directly "support" the crewniverse, it may very well be that watching leaks (from "illegal" sources) may have a negative impact on them. Per Aivi Tran:

If^^^^^. you watched the episodes on the CN app, you’re cool. That’s on CN, not you. If you’re downloading it from illegal sources, however: illegal sources don’t pay licensing fees to show an episode like legit sources do.

I^^^^^. have no idea if what she is saying is correct as I have no experience with or knowledge about any of that. I'm am prepared to take her comments at face value as she is in a position to know. So, if folks do choose to watch the leaks, keep this in mind. Your choice of where you get your content may have an impact.
