Investing in Canadian stocks

Hello, this is my first post here. I am interested in investing a small amount, around 500 USD in a Canopy Growth Corp a canadian company traded on TSX. What would be the best way to go about doing this and what do i need to be aware of by getting into foreign direct investment? Whats a good broker to use for this and future investments? Thanks
