Help me find a monologue about love and passion for my UCLA audition?
Hi r/theatre! I have already read the monologue post on the side bar but would love some help finding my perfect monologue. I am auditioning for the UCLA TFT and other drama schools that require auditions. I have to find a minute and a half or shorter monologue both contemporary and classical.
At first, I was going to do the 45 days speech by Ted Mosby in How I Met Your Mother but it must be from a published play. Then I found the Fact checker monologue in the play Goodbye Charles by Gabriel Davis but it is too long. If someone could help me find a monologue in the same range/category that fits in the 90 second time frame that would be amazing! I have been searching non stop for different monologues or even plays to help but nothing seems to hit the mark.
Tl; dr : 90 second monologue in the same vein as 45 days monologue from Ted mosby in HIMYM or fact checker monologue in Goodbye Charlie by Gabriel Davis. Monologue about love, passion, loss etc.
