[18M] MD -> NL
I will graduate from high school this year. Since I live in the Republic of Moldova, I'm not an EU citizen. I'm currently trying to get Romanian citizenship, but the process will take approximately 1,5 more years. The only languages I speak are English and Romanian.
I wish to study in the Netherlands in the first year after I graduate. I have already found several bachelor courses taught in English that I'm interested in.
My main problem is a financial one - my family cannot contribute a lot since living & tuition costs are very high in the Netherlands. I found some scholarships that could help me put off some pressure, but I've read that there are a lot of problems in getting more financial aid without being an EU citizen. I don't have a problem with working 60 hours a month to be eligible for grants, but I've read that I'll have a lot of trouble getting an work visa and actually finding a job for someone not speaking the native language.
I am looking for some advice from reddit on how to deal with this situation, whether my dream is plausible and what other preparations should I do now :)
