Corsair scimitar RGB middle mouse button broken?

I got this mouse for christmas and I have been loving it so far, however I have recently run into an issue with the middle mouse button, where it now feels like it needs more force than usual to have the click register, the mousewheel feels fine, clicking as usual so I think something with the button underneath the mousewheel.

Is there some easy fix to this problem, or will I have to get the warranty on the mouse and send it in?
